2008 CONFERENCE THEME

Each year the MCFOA President chooses a conference theme. For 2008, Barb Nelson of Spring Lake Park has chosen "Minnesota Idol." So start thinking about how you can incorporate this theme into your booth design, giveaways and silent auction items. Who is your Minnesota Idol? Are there Minnesota singers or songwriters you admire? What song best describes your company? Find a way to incorporate your musical talent (if you lack in that area, maybe a pre-recorded song!) into your booth. Minnesota has many idols ... are you one of them?

SILENT AUCTION: Exhibitors are encouraged to bring an item, keep it in your booth to draw attendees into your space and take bids. At 4:00 p.m. you turn the item and bid sheets into the Silent Auction coordinators and they will make the connection with the top bidder. Proceeds from the Silent Auction support the scholarship fund for future conferences and trainings. Note: conference attendees/cities are also donating items which will be displayed for bidding in the general exhibit area. Remember to keep the theme in mind when choosing what to bring.
Click here to access Silent Auction form.

DOOR PRIZES: If you would like to donate an item to the door prizes being drawn in the exhibit area from 3:00-4:00, please complete and return this form. Click here for Door Prize form.
